What you're seeing (if you're running a suitably modern browser) is the dual graph of a modified checkboard. Each cell of the checkboard is either a square, or has been divided into two triangles by a bend sinister (/) or bend dexter (\), depending on the value of a function, modulo three, applied to the cell's row and column indices.
