[...] On a related topic, Laszlo Systems has launched Laszlo Mail, a high-polish web mail product focused on cross-browser portability and on user experience . I first wrote about Laszlo Mail here. Laszlo Mail is an excellent example of the kind of application that we created OpenLaszlo in order to enable. As Jonathan Boutelle says :” It feels like a candy-coated swiss army knife, an appealing mix of aesthetics and pragmatic design.” [...]

We're watching your efforts from Germany. The product looks very impressive, altough I've only seen screenshots of it!

I'd really like to see the application running in Europe, too. The best web mail application in Germany is provided by http://web.de. They don't offer any drag and drop functionality, just plain HTML.

I showed some of your applications to my friends. Everybody was impressed and many of them didn't even know that such functionality is possible within the browser.

Wow! I'm with you, I'm definitely looking forward to something like this. I've been very dissatisfied off late, every email client/website seems ok but when it comes to large volume of mail (I'm subscribed to python-list), they just seem so clunky. I even looked at FuseMail.com but somehow the interface seems clunky. This Laszlo Mail looks cool, though.
